Meet Time Machine Super Serum

Meet Time Machine Super Serum

Time to meet the newest cast member joining the Hello Skincare fam: our Time Machine Super Serum.

What are the most important ingredients?
We’ve balanced the formulation of Time Machine with many powerhouse ingredients to boost your skin. In additional to Bakuchiol, you’ll also find Swiss Apple Stem Cells to amp up the anti-aging properties, Ashwagandha to help with collagen production and suppleness, Cucumber Extract to soothe, and Kakadu Plum for hydration! Okayyy, that’s seriously a LOT of really good stuff packed into one formula. Check out all the ingredients on the Time Machine product page.
All our ingredients are carefully sourced from cruelty free suppliers and we’ve worked with the best ingredients that science and nature have to offer.

How long has Time Machine been in the works?
It took a year of formulating to get Time Machine exactly right. At Hello Skincare, we promise to only release formulas when they are 110% ready for your skin. Is our perfectionism showing? Good. We tested and tried more than a dozen versions of Time Machine before finally getting to say “that’s the one!” And my goodness are we excited for you to try it!

What is Bakuchiol and how do you pronounce it?
Say it with us: “bah-coo-chee-all!” Bakuchiol is a natural alternative to Retinol (a synthetic derivative of Vitamin A) that has many of the same benefits of Retinol, without the side effects. While Retinol has been regarded as the gold standard in skincare, it also comes backed by a mixed bag of opinions on its side effects and potential long term repercussions. Most notable is that people with sensitive skin are prone to irritation from using Retinol.
Then, in struts Bakuchiol, straight from a flower. Bakuchiol is shown to significantly decrease wrinkle surface area and hyperpigmintation...without the side effects. Ummm, yes please!
The British Association of Dermatologists concluded in a study that “bakuchiol is comparable with retinol in its ability to improve photoageing and is better tolerated than retinol.”
When do I apply Time Machine?
It’s best to apply Time Machine at nightime! After you’ve cleaned your face and used a toner, place 3-5 drops of Time Machine on your fingertips, then apply to your face before applying moisturizer.

What’s the best way to apply the serum to my skin?
Ah, the heavily debated topic of the best application method. Rather than rubbing every bit of serum in with your fingertips, gently pat the serum all over your face and neck. There will be some product that feels like it’s sitting on top of your skin. Let that absorb naturally, rather than rubbing it all in.

Is Time Machine scented?
Get a whiff of Time Machine and you’ll get a slight lavender essence scent via lavender essential oils. Not too overpowering, but just enough for you to say “ahhh.”

Do I need to use both serums to see a difference in my skin?
Nope! C-Juvenate and Time Machine work to improve different aspects of your skin. While C-Juvenate helps to brighten and even your skin tone, Time Machine helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Together, they’re the Super Serum duo for you to see positive, lasting change in your skin.

Is Time Machine approved for sensitive skin?
As with any new skincare product, make sure you test out a small amount on your skin and wait 24 hours to ensure your skin reacts positively. If no issues arise, continue to use Time Machine for two weeks while monitoring your skin for any irritation. After your two week trial period, feel free to introduce additional products and continue to use Time Machine with confidence.
